Actually Monster Hunter Frontier (I think it's Frontier, the Japanese-only MMO one either way_ has a version of Khezu that legit DOES swallow you whole and it's an instant kill

yep, it's frontier - one of the versions of Laviante/Raviante (big snake monster) also has an attack where it swallows you whole.
