Because we all know what happens when a VBM unbirths a human/other don't we ;D

When a bloop vores someone they are safe but when a VBM/Village Birthing Mother eats someone/other living beings they turn them into a Bloop ^^
Its painless and quite enjoyable.
Two days to turn them into a bloop and another two days of rest for the new bloop to bond with its mistress/leader/master.
The bloop falls asleep in a small well that the VBM turns her lap into.
But sometimes the VBM will just pick them up and sleep while the new bloop rests on her solder while being hugged by the VBM.
The new bloop is not the VBM's baby, But they do love their new friends and sometimes can be over protective of their new villager/bloop ^^
