Was in the mood for drawing some of my favorite milfs as well as trying out a new brush and finished Angie first. Next up will be Dexter's Mom followed by Maddie Fenton and Helen Parr.

I think the more cartoony style/design of characters suits you way better right now, CalArts head style notwithstanding. Your anatomy looks a lot less finicky as well, proportions seem far more proper even if they are simple. I hope you keep to the thicker brush for an outline, it's lending some real weight which is always a plus.

Keep at it, I wanna see how you tackle some great cartoon milfs in the future, while still trying new stuff

Yeah. I feel more of connection to cartoonish sort of gals since I grew up with some of them back in the 1990's & 2000's and they feel more lively and fun rather than the sharper/stranger anime kind. Also I discovered how to screw around with negative area scaling & inverting to give it a nice, thick outline that I'd recommend trying. Also the calarts thing is mainly based on references I used, so what can ya do. Thanks for the feedback regardless.

I kid, of course. I liked that stuff, n' I'm not a boomer yet (I hope not)

So hey, stick with what you like, and stick with what's in your realm of ability. Nothing wrong with that, heck it's what I'm doing with my next thing. Far as changing line thickness and stuff, I use that in CSP already though I gotta get used to doing it myself with a pen. Long road ahead, eh well.

Calarts, the bane of creativity. Thanks California. But yeah, yeah, sometimes that's just how the character looks, and if you're not experienced enough, altering it might be weird. But hey anytime, any budding artist that really makes the effort deserves input, even if it's from a schmuck like me
