You mean the dimensional shambler?
To be honest I don't really see the resemblance, although to be honest most of Lovecraft's creatures' descriptions are rather vague to begin with.

Oh, that's a *lot* of teeth! The innermost row reminds me of moray eels and other such creatures with inner jaws. Your preys are definitely not getting out of your mouth with something like that
