I personally do prefer how the hair were painted before,yet I am obliged to give credits to a very well drawn comic. Great Job.
Keep doing your work the way you feel and believe in the most. I think that's what helped Picasso and some other artists

If you hadn't changed things up, would you have used a screen tone for the soft palate of the wolf girl's mouth?
I'm just curious, screen toning seems very confusing.

I don't know, Ive read a few more manga and realized that in general, characters get less screentones than backgrounds, but that's a generalisation, considering nagatoro always has one.
