I said it before, I'll say it again, and say it as many times as I need to. You're a great artist/creator, and far from a bad game dev, especially when you patched reported bugs as soon as you heard them.
And I definitely second that: I legitimately enjoyed this game a lot! It had several imperfections, but undeniably lots of fun and talent and it's impossible not to be engaged.
Uh... either there's another kinda BS hidden switch somewhere, or I found another softlock. The left entrance in the room with the locked door on the second floor of the Zelda dungeon doesn't do anything. It's just an alcove I can hide in, and it doesn't transport me anywhere.
I found a bug- in Hallotown after you talk to the innkeeper about where to go, and find the skull-dog mugging a cat. If you enter that screen from the left (coming from the residential area) instead of coming from the venture area, Chocola walks back towards where she came from and just freezes there. I think it assumes you're coming from the other direction, so she's trying to walk over to intervene but gets stuck on the edge of the screen?
Just out of curiosity, I tried from the top entrance and the same thing happens. She tries to walk left, this time getting stuck on a tree and freezing.
A new one- in Dustowne, when I enter the treasure chest game building I can't leave again. Not sure if it's relevant but I was too broke to play the game.
Hey, you're great and I'm enjoying the game. I'm reporting the bugs I find, but it's nothing game-breaking and you're not bad at it. You don't see ME making an RPG- it's hard work!
After getting the quest to visit the lab to see the old bunny's grandson, if you talk to her again she turns into the witch bunny while the dialog box is open. Hope I'm not getting too annoying adding all these. I'd edit my first comment to keep it all together, but I guess that's not an option.
Yeah, should be? I downloaded 1.0.4 from the link on this page and copied all the files over to the old folder, telling them to write over any existing files. While I'm here, here's another minor one: When I went to the basement of the lab and the stealth section started, I couldn't move Chocola and it just kept starting over as I got caught repeatedly. But then I reloaded my save and it worked fine the second time.
Oh, for what it's worth, Miranda only turns into the witch if I talk to her from below. If I talk to her from above, it looks like her but in a pink dress instead of bikini, if I talk to her from the left it's normal, and if I talk to her from the right she turns into the witch's cauldron. All this is only while the words are on the screen, then she changes back.
She shares a sprite sheet with other characters since shes not animated, I swear I clicked the direction fix box. Sometimes it seems like not all of my changes are even saved
So, I seem to have run into a slew of bugs during just that one part of the game, but I did the tower and everything was great there. I also went back and did the treasure chest game when I actually had money to play, and it let me back out that time. The Daorsa fight was awesome! Absolutely love it! You did an amazing job with my cameos in both games, thank you so much! Also really liked Queen Almohada's surprisingly long back story, that was fun. :)
Oh! I see the problem now, the switch to block the exit still turns on if you say yes but don't have any money, that solves that problem. And I'm happy you liked it, she's a really nice character. Like to imagine getting eaten by her myself hehe
Hey CarnivorousVixen, just going to say again that I managed to finish the game on a previous version and you did lovely work! I fully enjoyed the story and had a blast the entire time. Though I have a few questions, after completing Aldmorah's quest after finishing the main boss fight with the bird. The quest prompt to go talk with her remains. Is that suppose to happen? My second question is about the locked gate on the hallowtown side of the lupine forest and the vacant house in bunboro. Is there a key those doors?
So finally beat it, and gotta say I do love quite a bit of the game. Only bugs I could find so far was I noticed was in the area that I think was based off of Atari Adventure (( The one after the one based off of Legend of Zelda )) that a few walls didn't have caps to them. In other words there was gaps at the top of some hallways where you could walk into the space between walls. Didn't find anything so I didn't think it was intentional.
Balance: The game has an interesting sort of balance to it where the more you explore the easier it gets due to unlockables and such being usually better than just straight up level grinding, but the succubi give huge XP for their challenge. I think that's because of how you coded their auto vore attack at HP intervals so they always use them regardless of your damage. Getting instantly vored three times in a row and then attacked isn't fun. ^^; The bosses themselves aren't too bad though.
Content: A game aimed much more at a pred and so my comments here will be slightly detracting in that I wish the game-overs were a bit more "detailed" but I get it. These are proper "game overs" and aren't trying to be as rewarding, and in my taste getting at least to describe digestion has always been a favorite thing to see in these games. I've beaten the game but still have alot to do, like 8 or 12 carrot coins left to go as well.
Overall: One of the best, most fleshed out experiences in our vore game communities and I love that you got through it to the end of another great chapter. I can't wait to see what you have planned for the next episode, and I think that is the same opinion from all of us playing it. Keep up the good work, and don't let it all get to you. Discouragement is the main reason my models don't get painted for wargaming, so I get that a bad mood for a few days makes everything unnapealing. It never has to be perfect, it never has to please everyone. It only has to please you, and that's all that matters.
I found it, but thanks for letting me know. Was just sorta checking about.
You did a really great job too! The Sam and Dan parts were just so enjoyable as a really cute take on an ((some would say overly)) sexual relationship. It was cute, very well played, and made me a bit teary eyed at time to time. (( Mostly blaming how quickly I'll attach to characters in fiction.))
My favorite scene was probably with the cat thieves, because it got dragged out if only a little bit. <3
In the first forest, you know the road in the minimap...it's a forest. If anything is close to the inicial city...soo if you just click in every direction you will find it.
Thanks I'm happy to hear :3 I scrapped the 3D maze in favor of the Zelda dungeon, I liked the idea and liked how it looked but it proved too complicated to come up with something interesting enough
Thanks so much, it really makes my day to hear someone enjoyed my games. Regarding the buttons they had to be pressed down in a certain order, that's probably what it was
This game... it kept me playing. It has the right amount of intrigue without being boring, like the Pac Man game. Kinda outta the way but fueled by curiosity. I'm kinda sad the Dragon got no special treats. But might I add... that wolf succubus...! Wow! It's everything I've been searching for, simple yeah but I understand limitations I've used an RPG Maker, they're a challenge. I'll reiterate, I'm completely blown away by the succubus and want so much more! Thank you for sharing this. You've helped me find a good RPG in general and an enemy/battle I'm constantly on the lookout for, and such an attractive one at that! I need more games with vore intertwined in combat.
Aaand I just finished it today. I can't begin to say how much I enjoyed this game! I suspected it would be good but it was even better than I expected still. I'm legit sad that it's over.
Apart from always having some element that kept you playing and offering something new, the talent and life behind a lot of things was itself remarkable. Many of those lovely furs had vivid and detailed background stories, you actually grow to love them in different ways!
My one and only real critique would be the quality of a few maps and / or tilesets (most were great too just some exceptions). The dusty town was the main one that made my eyes bleed a bit, due to using a 16px tileset in contrast to all the other high-res graphics. Beyond that and a few minor bugs I found all was perfect.
Now I'm eager for part 3, even if I know it's probably (and understandably) going to be a few years from now. You're definitely very talented at this so I fully hope you'll keep being a game dev! Thanks for making and offering something so nice to us <3
I don't know if I sound stupid by asking this, but how do you get into Lopine Forest. I have been searching for a while and seem stuck. Any help is appreciated
I love the game, but in the swamp, i can only find one lever, mabey you could tell me where are the levers because i found nothing and I have looked around the hole internet just to find nothing. thank you for helping me if you have time

A key to those doors*

I also forgot my third question, what are the Empty Bottle items for?
Posted by CarnivorousVixen 4 years ago Report
Its not intentional and the gate is useless (it led to an area I scrapped and I forgot about it) and the empty bottles are for milk from Almohada
Posted by Stelos 4 years ago Report
Got it, how do you get milk from Almohada?

Go back to the swamp temple and pay her 12 carrot coins, you can get as many fills as you want for free
