There was one East Indian movie, "Shake Rattle n Roll" where a guy was eaten alive and whole by a lamia/nagini(sp?).
It was very hard to imagine how she would have kept him down when he's still kicking. But that became irrelevant as it turns out she forgot to strip him of the knife that he was grasping for while swallowing him feet first.
It ended poorly for her. I guess my point here is Thanos was right: reality is often... disappointing.
Megastretchy stuff like this is one of my favourite things. Not bound tight into a ball or anything, you can stretch and move as much as you like, but no matter how far you reach, they can stretch more.
I'd imagine the lamia would have to make sure the prey doesn't get to try to stand up like that. Sitting on top of her own coils to squish them, for example.

But apparently not for this lady.

I mean a snake eating live prey in the first place would probably end with broken bones and punctured organs anyway so don't think about it too hard.

It certainty would break her spine, but there's no fun in that!

I've been thinking about this exact scenario ever since that one ATHF episode.
