Though not everyone also has the benefit of everything going to plan either!

Reeve here is undergoing a training exercise as part of his ongoing field medic studies and training. In this particular scenario, Reeve finds himself prepared with most of his items, save for a blanket and tasked with preserving a relatively healthy patient's body temperature as the adverse conditions of high altitudes may cause condition to degrade to the unacclimated.

In a world where the consumption of others for various reasons is not quite unheard of, it presents interesting solutions to such problems. Despite previous exposures to such facets, Reeve himself is still not quite over that natural species barrier that he sees himself in. It is and remains very difficult for him to engage in such acts but thus far his desire to serve in emergency rescue medicine and strong natural compassion for others has allowed him to gather the strength he needs when the time comes.

Funnily enough, the most eager volunteers are quite helpful in knowing how best to aid swallowing. Much to the joy of others and to confusion of those like Reeve. Looks pretty comfy in there either way and judging by the look on his face on the last panel, Reeve still has quite a ways to go with his passenger in tow.
