Melony has digested Flannery and gained quite a few assets (including one quite unusual pokemon)
Even better, it appears another gym leader was traveling in Galar and came by for a battle.

So, does this mean that the way of capturing pokemons in this world is to defeat a trainer and thus they become the pred's pokemon?

It can be a way to create new pokemon, but there's still plenty in the wild to catch normally.

Thank you! I had ideas for some of the gym leaders as pokemon, and this seemed like a way to work them in.
