I can imagine that Princess Bubblegum needed Finn to fight off an evil Tooth Decay monster in her mouth, but was too eager to give him a proper outfit to protect him from digestion.

Oh well! She has more Finn clones stored in the lab! Many nor where that came from. Princess Bubblegum won’t lie, it’s kinda fun digesting her personal hero. It feels so… naughty!
