These overhead predatory creatures are generally more of a nuisance than a threat to people. Being essentially a carnivorous fungus, they rarely grow large enough in their months long lifespan to snag anything besides small animals and birds.
However, there isn’t actually a limit to their size provided enough food. Its tongue is laced with a paralytic sticky saliva to paralyze its prey before reaching its mouth, however its potency isn’t nearly strong enough to completely paralyze larger prey on contact…

OHNO NORI LOOKOUT FOR THOSE ROPES…
FINALLY completed this series ahha qwq Its been something I started years ago and ended up being lost in my unfinished pile. This new sequence uses parts of my original drawing while incorporating new drawings and all new coloring~. I’m not quite sure if this would be ‘unwilling’, maybe Nori was tricked by Umi to walk around completely naked in this place… :3c
