Sakura considered, perched atop the bounding form of her gelatinous gut, that she just didn't care anymore. That's not to say that she was depressed, or suddenly nihilistic-in fact, things seemed to be going her way for the first time in a long while. Sure, Sasuke-or any boy really, for that matter-hadn't confessed their undying love to her, and she wasn't a super famous kunoichi like the former-Sannin-turned-stomach contents; but Sakura felt that more recently now than ever, she finally held a sense of self worth that had been slowly eroded from her in the course of her lowly career as a shinobi.

She mused this to the man preparing her thirty-fourth and fifth bowls of ramen, but he seemed distracted at the time. It only made sense, she supposed; she knew little of cooking, and it probably consumed one's focus entirely if they wished not to make a disasterous mistake. He did keep glancing behind her every now and then, something which made her wonder if a queue had begun forming behind her prone position. Hopefully not, she was fairly certain she had gotten all of them this time...


Second part! Ostensibly after Sakura has, intentionally or otherwise, consumed a greater portion of the active military force of her home nation; that gut's not for show, it consists of a rather varied assortment of legendary, and mundane, warriors all jam-packed together on one kunoichi's waistline! Yeah, she's gotten rather fat-and not one ounce has gone anywhere other than that gut, unfortunately for her.
