Doesn't have to be Leyla if you don't wanna rush to her. What I like so much about Andrea is that conflict between witch and human, and I hope she never wholly sheds the latter skin.

I like this a lot! Somewhat surprised by the witch thing, since I don't recall if that was really outright said in the prior chapter, but I'm interested to find out more about the dynamics behind it. I like Andra and Clara's relationship and openness here, and I especially like how their souls are retained and trapped inside her mind by the end- I like stuff where the previous meals get to stick around after they're eaten and absorbed.

Thanks for the feedback! I admit I'm a fan of leaving things mysterious and giving hints rather than stating outright. I'm not particularly good at the "exposition dump". Always happy to hear what people like so I can make sure to cover it in the future.

I really like stories where the souls hang around, and they're pretty rare. It could be interesting seeing more of Clara in the inner world. It seems like she might end up the sexy warden in a way.
