The introduction to Weiss's Wonderland. This one mainly introduces the ground rules at the start, but, as RWBY evolve their connection, expect...more things to occur between them.
As stated before, this series will...mostly try to be chronological.

Sad that it happened while Yang and Blake were having a serious conversation, but still, got to love that ending. Hopefully Y and B will have more time to talk privately in these coming nights within the dream world.
Hopefully Blake and Weiss will eventually be able to have a serious heart-to-heart with each other, though for now it might be best for Weiss to give the Faunus girl space. While understandable it’s still sad that W and B’s relationship has fallen this far. I can only guess how much it must hurt Weiss to know that Blake is genuinely scared of her now.
Glad to see that Weiss is actively trying to make amends with Yang, even if it’s just by letting the blond break parts of her; something that Ruby clearly is upset by. The sisters will clearly need to have some words with each other.
Speaking of sisters, when do you think Weiss will introduce her ‘not quite girlfriend(?)’ and team leader to her sister Winter?

It was cool to see what was happening inside of Weiss during that entire fight, which is all pretty cool. Particularly Ruby managing to calm down the tendrils, that was really tender. Cant wait to see what hijinks they get up to in there. And of course, if they can slowly patch things together all the better.

Well, Ruby didn’t hesitate to jump the gun XD - i wonder how she got Weiss to gobble her up so soon after everything, and how long it’s gonna take before someone points out that Weiss seems pretty content with having that belly herself (though someone’s gonna have to track down Blake and let her know Weiss hasn’t gone “Nega” again first - after explaining things to Yang in a way that won’t pop a blood vessel).
for any critiques i could make beyond grammar and syntax, i’d say the intro felt a bit arbitrary - it seemed almost like a third-person narrator was recapping what happened as opposed to any of the girls. IDK if implication’s that the observer from the end of Nightmare Consumptions is making this list, but it did feel a bit awkward to me when compared to the rest. though that being said, i do appreciate that we’re getting setting and rules for stuff like the “dream mechanics” established before the vore, like like needing time to restructure something (i wonder if it’s anything like a mental equivalent of “muscle-memory” where you have to ingrain it as a reflex), or maintaining a degree of realism with stuff like food production (wondering if that’s related to the theories of perception in dreams needing realism to make them acceptable enough to the mind to mistake it as reality). also, might be overanalyzing, but i couldn’t help note the offhand bit of Ruby’s eyes turning red after learning Yang punched Weiss out to test pain in the dream - was that hyperbole, or did Ruby’s dream-avatar actually get the same color-changing angry eyes as Yang as a result of all their souls getting connected? also curious about whether the passage of time’s the same as in reality, or if they feel any exhaustion if they’re “lucid dreaming” for too long instead of getting actual sleep, or if there’s any “dream dangers” like Grimm or thugs as part of the whole “realistic grounding” aspect.
getting details about what happened inside Weiss was pretty neat too - being within Weiss’ “essence” sounds like it took the form of a soulscape of sorts, like a space all its own to explore. that Weiss’ means of putting everyone to sleep was a lullaby feels like a nice little callback to her being a singer - IMHO, the way the the subconscious vines/tendrils seem to interface through touch almost makes them seem to me like the “umbilicals” (for lack of a better word) that “feed” Weiss their powers or feelings, sine the moment they release is when RBY could exit Weiss’ body. the implication that raging around rampant in Weiss’ essence would be uncomfortable or otherwise bothersome for her is also an interesting aspect i’m curious about - like if Weiss could actually “feel” them moving in there if she tried, or if there’s any purpose or symbolism behind those white trees they saw. i’m also left wondering if Dream-Whitley & Dream-Willow are still in there or if they were fully re-absorbed/“digested” back into Weiss when the dream ended, since they were technically constructs of Weiss’ mind in the first place.
was also nice to see the other side of the finale, so to speak - maybe I’m reading too much into it, but i liked the parallel to V3 with Yang’s initial despondency in the face of failure after realizing Ruby was eaten/that she couldn’t keep her sister from becoming part of Weiss’ waistline after all (I know absorbing Ruby didn’t actually change Nega-Weiss’ body in the story, but Yang wouldn’t know that at the time), and that it’s Ruby allowing herself to be eaten/throwing herself into the fire that reignites her anger. Blake’s volatile reaction fit as well - for all her outward calm, she’s ironically always been the easiest to rattle; thinking she was gonna die to someone she just recently decided to trust as a friend, to say nothing of being gulped down by a Schnee like she was just food, and then waking up in what probably looked like the afterlife with the rest of her team… yeah, I’m not surprised she’s sticking by Yang’s side in the present instead of wandering off on her own, since the event seems to have basically traumatized her for the time being. I also liked Ruby’s awkward attempts at reassurance - she’s got the mature-for-her-years sense of conviction in trusting Weiss, but lacks the experience or years to actually articulate it to Blake & Yang beyond a vague “have faith” that leaves the underlying tension unresolved; even if she can get them to trust in her judgement, it’s obviously not the same as things being amended.
Yang seems to be more the POV character for the present-day section, so she’s the one i can say the most about - and no surprise, Yang’s still angry. a bit startling IMHO to see her lashing out so violently considering her guilt when it happened to Mercury in V3, but i guess proof of the “it’s just a dream” thing wouldn’t help her sense of restraint when Weiss’ broken nose didn’t last. that said, her anger seeming to stem from Ruby’s easy acceptance - from how easily she trusted Weiss with her life - makes a scary kinda sense; Yang always seemed to think family was everything, if her resentment of Raven’s anything to go by, so seeing Ruby get past what was done to them all and bond with Weiss so quick might be stinging a bit. heck, maybe it’s making Yang think about some things - in canon she’s always been there for Ruby physically, but a bit thoughtless about the emotional side (brushing off Ruby’s concerns at early enrollment, or ditching her day one to hang with her friends) and never really cottoning on ‘till V8 that Ruby was ever withholding feelings from her. nothing’s probably gonna highlight that more than learning Ruby’s a vorephile (something she’s sharing with Weiss but left her in the dark on, with double awkwardness for how much Yang feared Ruby ending up on Weiss’ waistline (even if safely) only for Ruby to actually want it). maybe when she’s in a better mood she can joke about how Ruby found the way to Weiss’ heart through her stomach, but until then i’m curious how this plays out.
overall, it seems like the team’s got a few things to work out. definitely curious to see what kind of (mis)adventures that’ll take them on ^_^
