Halloween was always a fun time for Kaylin, especially since it made catching prey so much easier. The chorus of screams coming from her gut would just be dismissed as fake, and anyone who spotted her with her writhing mass of a belly would most likely assume it was just an elaborate costume prop. More than a few people had already come right to her to get a closer look, only to be given a much closer look than they bargained for. As long as nobody saw her in the middle of swallowing someone (and escaped), she could get away with just about anything.

And so that's how Kaylin spent her Halloween night, ringing doorbells just to gab and gulp whoever answered while snacking on any trick-or-treaters she bumped into along the way.
