My shrunken friend Emily comes to visit my house in the woods from time to time. Today, she didn't show up. I found out why the next day when I returned to the house and found a partially digested pink bra next to a pile of slugs in my garden. I forgot to tell her about my recent slug infestation. I should have better tended my yard this summer, but I was lazy. Now, my lovely friend is nothing more than slug mucus... sigh.
