I'm sorry to answer your two sentences with an essay but:
----You've been on this site for 6years, while I've been here for 15. I was literally 18 when I signed up, but I lurked the community since 2000. I'm old enough to have seen when people weren't, and then started using the word vore.
----This website literally started BEFORE the word vore was a thing. This site began with a guy's adult attraction to Daisy Duck in the 80's, and was basically made for collecting photocopies of newspaper funnies and CHILDRENS's books that featured scenes of characters getting eaten.

Again. CHILDREN'S MEDIA.
Comics, Books, fairy tales, Newspaper clips. BEFORE MP4.

And it began, by fetishizing Daisy Duck.

i agree, sexual attraction and any other attraction can be pretty much anything , you got people enjoying drawings of intense sex, just for the artistry. and for a reversed example there is people who enjoy specific shoe brands for sexual gratification(very interesting fetish btw)

those kind of feelings aren't always rational, really no point in making definitive statements like"vore is sexual"

Okay, yeah sure, vore has been a trope for a long time. Most new “deviantart” fetishes come from cartoon gags and the such being crossed wires in developing brains. However, that argument sort of falls flat when you are a porn artist on a porn website. There’s a bit of a difference between a doctor examining a woman’s foot and Quentin Tarantino examining a woman’s foot.

I make vore, on a website created for hosting vore.

What you add to vore is your business.
And calling cartoons that I created to be like the cartoons I grew up with, and being unable to tell the difference, is all on you. Not me.
