When the jacket opens up it reveals his well fed belly, constantly moving and shifting and struggling with the activity of his former meals trapped eternally in the jiggle of his pudge. They're sentient pudge boys, ghost-facing in the relative freedom of movement allowed within their prison of fox fat. Getting eaten by Mask Foxeh is a one way trip, this is permanent, they will never be free from his belly. Bit of a Freddy Krueger vibe for this, only more vorny and less body horror-y.

He doesn't actually think he's doing anything wrong by devouring boys and keeping them in his pudge for keeps. The way they scream and run away is just a fun game of tag or hide and seek, and they're just playing hard to get! They'll realize how much better off they are in the warm amorphous jiggle of fox fat, eventually. After enough decades.
