Next up for Anise's nerdy meals, our favourite bully has caught this alternative-looking girl. I've been imagining that the nerd subspecies of this world would have plenty of little subcultures and stereotypes among them; sporty, gothy, outdoorsy, etc. This one happens to be a punk nerd, complete with a striking hairstyle and multiple piercings. She isn't too happy about being lunch, so she's showing it with a one finger salute (keeping in mind, my characters have three fingers, not four!).
I happened to stumble on a few cartoons of punk-looking girls on Google a few days ago, and thought I should draw one of the nerdy meal girls that way. For some reason - at least, for the pics I saw - these punk girls were depicted as tall and lanky, with big hands and feet, and longer digits - so I tried to do the same for her. Hah, what an adorably rebellious little meal! As for the food, even though the last pic was pasta, I went with a pesto on fettuccine noodles, with cherry tomatoes - pesto was one of my favourite ways to make noodles, haven't had it in a while, cause the sauce is not that cheap! But anyway, was thinking, since there's so many pastas, I might as well do a bunch of them. Spaghetti will be featured in the long comic, but there's other noodle dishes out there, and plenty more tasty nerds to nom!

It would make sense for nerds to have their own subcultures, but I wouldn't imagine anyone with a lot of piercings going down smoothly. Also I don't have any piercings myself, but I could only imagine how much getting a nipple pierced would hurt (like Hell).

I was picturing Anise burping all the piercings out later - was almost going to draw it in a little panel below!
I only have my ears done, but had friends with nipple piercings. Was told it's one of the most painful things they experienced.

Thanks! I thought it was about time for more variety in the nerd meals!
Perhaps you did - I'm also seeing more punk dressed people around my city lately, for some reason

Hmmm. Anything you'd typically have while camping, or at a BBQ, etc? Things that you normally have to eat outside? Oooo, actually I have an idea for a hiking nerd meal...
