First of all, I wanna kick things off with a happy birthday to  emibuttprincess! Green's a character I've been interested in writing with for a long while, and one of my favorite and most remembered Pokémon characters for a majority of my life to boot, especially the classic black dress look and snake oil salesman personality from the early volumes of the manga. For the longest time though, I just couldn't find the right time to slot this particular story into my writing schedule. Other things just kept taking priority. One day, I happened to learn that Emi was also a big fan of the character, that her birthday was coming up, and that Green somehow didn't have any content I could find through searching here on Eka's, and all of those things combined to serve as the perfect motivation to finally give Green a place in my gallery.

If you haven't checked out Emi's content yet, highly recommend browsing her gallery when you get the chance! Been enjoying her stuff for a little while now, and the release date of this story serves as a bit of a thank you for the quality content. And if this story ended up being something you enjoyed, you've got her stuff to thank for it coming out now instead of some far off nebulous date indefinitely further down the pipeline.

I do have to admit though, with my username, it does feel a bit strange to have only written six Pokémon stories in the last four years. Got a full team now, at least! That said, I still plan on using this year to give those numbers a good boost. There isn't going to be a big wave of Pokémon content just yet, but know that this year will absolutely see me tackling the Paldea region, and heading back to Kalos for X and Y's ten year anniversary. Hisui too if it fits in the schedule! That one may still take a bit longer to get to though. Insert plug here for Emi's ongoing Legends Arseus series if you're craving Hisuian content!

As far what's actually coming up next though, the current plan is to take a stab at a mobile gacha game I've wanted to write with for a while that I'm genuinely surprised doesn't have any content here yet! Which exact game? I'll keep that a surprise for now, lest plans spontaneously change.
