Every aspiring warrior must pass a rite of passage in a future where the past and present have converged. Prehistoric beasts long-extinct roam the earth once more and pose a real threat to humanity's position on the food chain. To survive, the ever adaptable humans must learn the techniques and skills of their ancestors without the benefit of technology and modern weaponry. If you can’t master the environment and your foe with nothing more than a spear in your hands, then you’re done for!

In this western-based civilisation, the Titanoboa’s roam. A fresh-faced warrior accepts the trial to subdue any juvenile Titanaboa’s that wander too close to a settlement every few months. Despite their comparatively smaller size to an adult, Titanaboa young present a severe threat to humans. A challenging test for any experienced warrior, let alone a novice.

You either succeed. Or perish. There’s no better way to prepare someone for this ruthless world.

So I finally did it! I merged an external animation with an internal one. Still janky as hell given my relative inexperience with animating, but an interesting experience nonetheless. All manually keyframed and rendered in Daz Studio, mashed together in Premiere Pro and some unique groans and moans to add also. This is the last time I'm gonna do anything with this set now. Think I've bled as much from it as I can!
