The final picture in this "Nintendo Gals" series (for now), and the last of the 20 pics I had ready to submit, it's Paula Polestar from Earthbound! This was a game I bought on a whim from a rental store that wanted to get rid of it - I had no idea what I was in for, the box just looked unique (I didn't get the literal player's guide magazine of a manual that usually came with it). It's a zany game that I've grown to love, and it has an huge cult following and community. Paula is the second character to be added to your team, and while she's a great character in battle (and her "pray" move that I vorified in the title is essential to beat the game), it's very disappointing how little she's involved in the story. She needs to be rescued, then is kidnapped a few chapters later and needs rescuing again, and she's the only character you don't get to play as alone, unless all the boys are dead and following her as angels. The two guys who join Ness get their own solo quests before joining, so it'd been so cool to have Paula do an escape quest by herself or something... oh well.

That second kidnapping, halfway through the game, happens in a department store, by this alien minion of the big boss, Giygas. Aptly named "Dept Store Spook". Ness and Jeff have to fight their way up to the top floor and defeat this creature, but Paula isn't there to be saved - oh no, there's a few very annoying dungeons and bosses to go first, without her. After that, Paula is mostly your silent healer and magic fighter. I just wish she had more focus and dialogue like the others.

Like Dixie Kong on the previous page, I've aged Paula up, as you can see from those orbs on her chest - though her taste in fashion didn't change. I refuse to depict child characters, as prey or pred - not just for the obvious reasons, but a personal experience not worth mentioning. Maybe someday. Well, in this case, the Dept Store Spook decided to kidnap Paula permanently! Though he was careful to slip her dress off and hang it up nicely - perhaps he wants to try it on later? For now, he's getting a good lickin' in, spitefully tasting the girl's goods before gulping her the rest of the way down. I guess Paula ran out of PP for casting magic, and doesn't have a frying pan handy - she's definitely prey this time!

OK! So that's it for my stack of drawings, guys. I'll have to buy a new sketchbook, and should get more pencil crayons - some colours are really low. Not sure when this will be, hopefully only a few days, but money is a bit tight this month. I'll have to set up adoptables soon - and maybe I should set up a link to my Ko-Fi on my front page - in case anyone wants to donate in the meantime?? Unlikely, but I should have a link up, anyway. So, maybe in the next few days, I'll be uploading "Vore Sketchbook Cover #9", then getting back to regularly drawing and uploading. I'll try to get caught up on PMs in the meantime, and let me know how you guys like this Nintendo Gals series - I'd love to draw more!
