When I was a little girl, about 6-7, one of my favourite TV shows was the animated spin-off of Beetlejuice. It'd be a decade before I'd ever find out about the movie, and the show was quite a bit different. Main characters and monsters were simplified or changed altogether, but I thought it was all an original show. Lydia was a great character that I was drawn to, and I loved the universe of peaceful monsters, the Netherworld.
One creature that changed a lot was the sandworms, which lived in their own realm attached to the afterlife. In the movie, they were black and white, with a mouth inside a mouth, and very obviously a puppet. In the show they were recurring monsters, and looked like this. So, as a little tribute to an old favourite, here is Casey getting eaten by a sloppy sandworm!
Here's a good video of these worms, which of course try to eat people all the time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKnpUysCFik
About halfway through, Beetlejuice ends up inside its mouth, too. Escapes of course, but certainly worth pointing out.
Oh, shoot, that's twice - I better not say his name again! If he does show up though, maybe he can take me to meet a sandworm myself??
Wait... I'll have to type his name in the tags...

A fun character to draw vore with, and certainly one made for the job of gulping down girls like Casey down!
I love the expression here as always, the eyes protray so much emotions with the tears of the prey some how complimenting the drool of the pred. The pose is also great with the last little moment of peril before her body is fully trapped inside those hungry jaws and sink down that long form.
Love the stuff as always, keep up the great work!

Definitely, I'm surprised I didn't come up with this sooner - I haven't thought about this show in ages. News of Beetlejuice 2 being in production reminded me of it.
Yeah, I love when it's hard to tell a prey's tears from the drool around them. And that pose - I just wanted something that says "helpless struggle" - I think it worked. And thank you!

Brings back some fond memories, I enjoyed this show growing up. Good intro music and intro scene with his body being a corpse revived from the grave. That show made good use of characters and that same kooky afterlife implied in the movies. Sandworms still being that terrifying threat to people dead and alive.

Oh yeah, that intro really draws you in, and gives a good taste of what you're in for; it's unforgetable. Glad they expanded on the movie's afterlife, and not focusing on the real world and having Beetlejuice be a villain, more like the movie. Though it was a surprise when I finally saw it!

Oh gosh, I remember those guys... the ol' Ghost with the Most didn't have much he feared, but even those things got him running away!

It was great having this powerful creature that is feared by everyone, and just wants to eat everyone. I think maybe my Gobblisk monsters took some inspiration from these sandworms

Yeah, they really are - I was surprised to see how they looked in the movie, many years later
