Flowing through the intestines, nutrients are being drawn from the contents.
Because Sarah is mostly intact her body flows slowly and is being encased in the hardening remains of the kibble.
The growing turd is steadily flowing through the intestines towards the rectum. Where it will remain until the cat decides to release it all out again.
