Hello, hello! The name is NUToriouslyVorny. Since this is my first post here I thought it wise to say something about why, what, and how I write.
*Starting with the "why", I'm not new to writing; I've been doing so and trying to improve over approximately the last decade. The thing is, I've NEVER posted any of my works publicly on any online platform until now. Pretty much all the stories and writings you will see posted by me were and still are primarily made for one—yes, you read that right, ONE—person to read. This person inspired me to start writing and creating my own lore and universe several years ago and I owe them many stories of characters and ideas they've helped to create. Only recently have other associates and friends of mine convinced me to post my works online, and now here I am sharing them with the world.
*That was the "why", now let me talk about the "what" of my writing. This universe has an overarching science fiction genre and is set around the 2050s to 2060s on a fictional planet Earth that doesn't strictly obey our known laws of reality and physics (for cool storytelling reasons, mainly). The setting itself is also generally NSFW but doesn't always focus on graphically violent or sexual content; I tend to dabble in other genres on a story-to-story basis (e.g., strictly NSFW, action, romance, adventure, slice-of-life, etc.). I should mention as well that I'm technically still working on what is and isn't set-in-stone canon in my universe. Like many other writers, I always have ideas bouncing around my head that could slightly or drastically alter my setting's canon; these possible alterations can range from a name or item change all the way up to how something interacts with something else on a global scale. In the event that I do make a change to the canon, I'll try my best to inform you of it and add disclaimers in the description of the story that incorporates the change.
*Now, let's move on to the "how" of my writing. To get this out of the way first, there is no definitive "endpoint/conclusion" of this setting. Every story I post is in non-chronological order and is a non-linear narrative. Many of them will still take place within the timeframe I mentioned above—unless directly stated otherwise—but don't expect every story uploaded to follow the prior posted one's plot; individual story lengths can also vary from very short to quite long. They are all relatively self-contained scenarios and tales that only share the detail of taking place in the same setting with possible reappearances of other characters. A story may sometimes introduce or resolve a conflict point that affects the entire setting as a whole but overall don't expect large amounts of "plot progression" leading up to a potential series finale. I also may occasionally upload small posts that will provide supplemental snippets of lore and in-universe terminology since my stories are quite sporadic in regard to terms and references that are mentioned in them.
