Realized at the last minute it was 8/8 so I decided to dig through my old unfinished stories again and quickly bang it out.
This one's not quite as old as "Emma's First Party" but still from a long time ago. I think part of the reason I never finished it is I just don't really buy friend vore, it just hurts my suspension of disbelief a bit when the pred has a relationship with the prey.
Maybe you guys feel otherwise, though, let me know in the comments!

I really like these "old" stories you have. They are really good!

Glad you think so! I have like one more of these that I could probably fix up and post, and at this rate I probably will eventually.
It's weird but I wrote several stories to about 70-90% completion that I just lost faith or interest in over the years before finally uploading anything to Ekas. I think I have more confidence in my writing now so it's easier to go back to them. Unfortunately there were a couple that I don't have copies of any more...those are just gone unless I decide to start them over from scratch.

What were the general themes of the stories you don't have anymore? I can tell that your work is influenced by some of the greatest vore artists/writers in the last 10 years or so, and I am curious what else you may have come up with. Your tastes line up almost exactly with mine, so my heart always skips a beat when I see more from you haha

One that comes to mind that was really close to being finished is actually referenced in "Emma's First Party": a story about two college freshmen who are pledging at a sorority, and of course the hazing/initiation ritual involves chugging a red cup full of beer + a shrinky.
The protagonist would have been semi-reluctant because she felt bad for the shrinkies, but she'd also really want to get into the sorority because she was a legacy...
The reason I don't have it anymore is it was actually even older than Emma's story, I don't even own that laptop anymore.

have you ever tried to write non-fatal vore stories?
Posted by TinyHunter 1 year ago Report
Not really, I just don't have much interest in it. If all the shrinkies in a story escape getting digested then I just feel blue balled by it.

Reminds me of this Justalittlevore comic, but with a fatal ending.

I think I know the one you're talking about, it's possible it was the inspiration? I started this around 4 years ago I think, so idk which came first.

Would be funny if true

Certainly agree with your stance on "friend vore", but I feel like it can work sometimes (and when it does it is one of my favorites), it just requires the pred friend to have a well established inner conflict leading up to and/or following the vore, which still doesn't always work. Regardless, this was still an enjoyable read, and, assuming the Worth a Shot Series goes into the characters' college years, would love to see Sarah make a cameo. Maybe Becca, Amber, or another character yet to be introduced in that series is one of her college peers that made her obsessed with the idea of eating a shrinky?

Ha, that would be kind of fun! I think Millie contracting the virus as a sophomore lines up decently with the earliest cases of the shrinking virus in Worth a Shot, which would put Sarah at around the same age as those characters. Maybe one year older, which wouldn't work...but it's close enough that I think I could let it slide :P

This is an interesting one! Quite a bit different from your other stories, but a very good read in its own right.
I agree with you, aware/intentional friend vore can be quite a challenge to write. I usually avoid it for the same reason, and whenever I write it I run into the same problem. It can be done, but getting the pred to behave in a plausible/believable way is not easy. That considered, I think you did a pretty good job here. Sarah's line of thought isn't completely incoherent given the world they live in, plus the fact that she's intoxicated makes it reasonably believable to me. At least to such a degree that I don't find it story-breaking. And the end has something almost loving and gentle about it, also unusual for your stories! But I liked it.
I also noticed that the Sarah in "Emma's First Party" mentions she ate someone called Molly before. I'm assuming this Sarah eating someone called Millie is kind of a different take on that particular backstory? If you wanted to weave these stories into your greater canon, it might even be an idea to make these two Sarahs one and the same character, and adjust Molly/Millie to be the same person as well. Depends on your stance on retconning stories like that though.

It's just a weird coincidence I think, haha. I try not to reuse names in stories I post since I rarely give them last names, but for these old unfinished ones I didn't apply the same standard since I thought they'd never see the light of day. Just looking through the drafts I had there are like 3 Sarahs and 2 Mollys, just common names I kept coming back to for some reason.
I don't really have big plans for either Sarah, so I'm okay with them just being two different people with the same name.

This is an excellent story! I really enjoyed the friend-vore aspect. That Sarah had gone off to college and found new friends who dehumanize shrinkies makes a lot more sense then we'd like to believe about people. Reference groups do change individual moralities than we'd like to give them credit for. Alcohol is also a lubricant, as VortexFoodsTM said.
And then the rationalization that Sarah really deserved it - from BOTH sides! Absolutely delicious!

she wasn't a friend at all.
