You might not think Anise would show up in a little comic in these simple pics, but that night it's what I wanted to draw (sometimes I don't get to bed for another hour when I start these...)
Casey has not only been put in here place as a nerdy meal, but a crowd of students have gathered to watch and mock her! Anise is just gobbling her up quick though, she doesn't care. More concerned for the time and getting somewhere than her lunch's feelings!

Also, a few observations:
1. Is this Casey having a nightmare about this, or is this how she will canonically be eaten, naked on a plate with people mocking her?
2. Will there be crowds of nerds making fun of those who will be eaten by Anise in the comic, or will they have more "Oh dear God, I am not your lunch, get away from me!" priorities?
3. I get this is a sketch, but I'm not sure how I feel about Anise looking like the Joker from Batman.

Honestly, by this point, there barely is any "canonical" with my main characters, as 90% of my pictures are one-shots with no continuity. If anything, I figured Casey's canonical fate was back in the "Excuses" comic.
In a cafeteria setting, those least at risk might gather around to watch Anise eat and mock her meal - depending on the time, day, etc - so it'll happen at least once in the long comic likely. Other nerds generally try to keep their distance from an eating bully.
Yeah, the green was far more extreme than I could tell in the dark - I only had a handful of colours with me at first, and just used the darkest one I had for the crowd and Anise's hair - with no intention of ending up with this look! Never again...

The premise her is wonderful. Love the look on her face as everyone mocks her for becoming a meal, something she obviously has no say in. The shaker sprinkling that finishing touch on her is so good too, love this!

It feels like the ultimate powerless position - my fantasies go this way sometimes - being prey with an entire crowd that maybe could help you, but instead are laughing as you get eaten!
LOL, and the pepper shaker is just one of my favourite little touches to emphasize that they're food, like an approaching fork, or the plating. Probably going to be plenty more of that!

It is such a powerful image, I love situations like that as well. So many people are present and appear to be able to help the prey, get that living person out of this situation and go on with their life. Instead they all just ignore the pleading or even better, mock the prey for ending up like that. Encouraging the pred to gulp them down and just pretty much bullying the poor meal sentenced to a gut.
Pepper shaker is a great touch! Things like Salt and Pepper shakers, plating of the prey, the pred having a knife and fork in hand, a napkin with the prey's face/outline on it tied around the pred's neck. All great little details that do so, so much for the image! You always do great work, keep it up!

It definitely plays with a lot of feelings at once, and provides such an embarrassing ending for the prey. This scenario has been in my head a while, along with another where the prey is a waitress, eaten by a customer while co-workers and the other patrons point and laugh. Probably will do that one later

Oh I'm looking forward to seeing that! Things that involve a waiter is a niche I very much enjoy, so your scenario there sounds extra enticing. Eager to see what you can come up with to visualize it!

I actually have a LOT of waitress prey scenarios in my head - since I've been a waitress myself several times - just haven't actually drawn any comics I've pictured yet

Oh! Then I would love to see any of those put to paper, it realy is the prey that keeps on giving if you ask me! Tons of fun scenarios to work in or around a restaurant (Whether it was intended for customers to vore or not)
