Chiyo lives with her mom and 11-year old sister. The mom works at an office and recently picked up a night job. She loves her two kids very much and would do anything for them.
Chiyo and her sister fight a bit, she likes to tease her older sister, but they mostly get along okay.

I wonder if there will be something like a mid-season plot twist about Chiyo's mom, now... Maybe she too had (or still has) interesting "adventures" :-P
