In this Coraline Story, The Other Mother prevents Coraline from leaving the Other World by swallowing the only key to the exit. Coraline becomes almost hopeless until Other Wybie gives her a Shrink potion which lasts for until she can drink some water. Coraline hatches a plan to go get the key and hopefully escape so she can get back to the Pink Palace without waking her up.

There are 2 endings, One where Coraline escapes after getting the key and the Other where she finds she can't escape because The Beldam closed her mouth and she keeps sending her down her throat after finding out that she tried to foil her master plan to keep her here.

The concept of Coraline going into the Beldam with a string around her to pull her back after she got the key is a Tom and Jerry reference.

Anyone watch those Theorizer Coraline theories? They're friggen terrifying. Imagine being Coraline realizing that she's going to become the Next Beldam and have the unfortunate need to Eat children for the sake of the Other World.
