I'm guessing that your favorite preds aren't huge monsters, either. Same size preds or even slightly smaller ones are my favs. Frogs, snakes, lizards, catfish, and pelicans all work for me. But toothy preds just don't. And I love consensual vore taken to an extreme - a compulsion to get in that belly.

I definitely loooove pelican vore. And fish are an unfortunately rarely used pred... I love the idea of it swimming off and the prey is trapped inside, with the water pressure squishing them, knowing no one would be able to find them in the vast sea...
I enjoy a little dubcon vore, just for the drama- or at least a consenting prey getting a wave of regret and trying to break free when it's already too late... Then accepting their fate! <3

I'd forgotten one other noticeable difference between this and the original. In any story I write or any version of someone else's story, no sexual interest in prey exists to a predator. There's no evolutionary reason for it, and I eradicate every trace of it from a story. So the predator must be completely oblivious to the sexuality of its prey. It's OK for the prey to be sexually aroused, but the predator couldn't care less.
