Figured I might as well try to make a ref for one of my other D&D characters: Approaching Storm the Tabaxi~ She usually goes by Storm for short.

She tends to be a lot more serious and careful than some of my other more carefree characters, usually spending a lot more of her free time training and preparing for potential dangerous situations. Her main combat style is based around extremely high-speed rapid strikes, preferring to end a fight as quickly as possible. She's able to run incredibly fast, to the point of basically being a speedster, able to cross large distances in the blink of an eye. She doesn't bother with ranged weapons because she can usually close the gap between herself and her opponents easily enough and then land a more decisive blow with her claws or her sword than she could with a ranged weapon at long range.

She can have a soft side though. She can only really operate at maximum speed in short bursts, and afterwards she usually wants to curl up to take a nap to recover her energy. During which she might be more amicable to things like belly rubs and other such fun activity.

Mechanically, she's being built as a Monk in the new 5.5e version where they're actually good and fun now lol. I'm still debating on what subclass to give her though. The only subclass revealed with the current Monk is the Warrior of the Hand which is admittedly based around speed, but I might make her 4 Elements Monk depending on how that turns out. Also I did some math and her top speed is around 250 mph, which she can maintain for about 1 minute. She could theoretically be outside of the range of someone using a Longbow, run up to them, hit them a couple times, and then run back outside of their maximum range, all in one D&D turn, even if the target were to take a move to get closer lol.
