Whew, I don't usually do pictures with a background like this, so this was certainly a challenge. Thankfully, the commissioner was pretty amazing with the feedback and the precise details on how they wanted the picture to be, so that certainly made things a heck of a lot better for me!

Dotty had been quite lovestruck with this one villager ever since they arrived in her island a few weeks ago. She's attempted several times to tell them how she felt, but always ended up giving up at the last second.

But, during an evening stroll around the island, one that had a particularly beautiful starry night sky, Dotty encountered her crush peacefully reading a book while sitting on a bench next to the town plaza. She, at first, tried to pass by without them noticing, but she accidentally tripped on a small elevation on the ground and fell on her face. This caught the attention of her crush, who rushed in to help her.

While being assisted with getting back up, Dotty looked up, and ended up being face to face with her beloved. This was it, she thought. It was a romantic night with no one besides the two of them there. Their looks were so infatuating. Their perfume smelled so... Tasty... Yes, soooo tasty....

And then, without thinking, Dotty finally managed to show her crush how she really felt by.... Swallowing them whole.

After letting out a huge belch that probably woke up the whole neighborhood, she made her way back to her home and laid down on her comfy bed, ready to enjoy a delightful night close than ever before to her beloved. They have the whooole night to get to know eachother.

Let's just hope Dotty remembers to spit them out soon.
