It's already become a "tradition" for the elves to visit these woodlands on New Year's Eve. This time a spirited and adventurous young elf girl was eager to attend the grand New Year's party. The festivities promised music, laughter, and merry-making that she didn't want to miss. To reach the celebration swiftly, she chose a shortcut through the dense forest.
But nature had different plans that day. The sky turned bleak, and heavy snowflakes obscured her path. She soon found herself disoriented and lost in the heart of the woods. But out of nowhere, an alluring aroma drifted through the air, weaving its way into elven's senses. Driven by curiosity and a growling stomach, she traced the irresistible scent to a hidden cave and intrigued, ventured inside. The warmth of the cave enveloped her, and there, on the soft carpet hugging a pillow, sweetly slept a charming little mouse girl. In a moment of impulse and without a second thought, elf girl, driven by her growing hunger, approached the sleeping cutie with intentions beyond her usual demeanor. Just as she reached out... A chill ran down her spine as she turned to face the true owner of the cave and the whole this forest as well. And something in that smug manticore's face made her realize that she herself will be the one who gets eaten today.
