This is actually a very good and interesting story. I really like how it's unique from other stories and there's a lesson to be taken here

I'm honestly quite tired of all these stories with "haha I'm gonna eat you now" and then "noo pls let me out it burns"

This is a nice change of pace, and I hope there's more similar to this in the future

Great work as always! Degradation of haughty characters is one of my favorites tropes, so this was a fun read!

I could see this getting a squeal and getting pretty dark. I mean Eula just had what she thought was her best friend and love interest, the first girl to give her a chance despite her heritage, turn her back on the knight when she needed help. This Amber basically confirmed that she saw Eula as a distraction and gave some, very disingenuous sounding, supportive words before leaving her to be digested by some brat.

After that and all the other failed attempts to ask for help, she pleads with Jean, her superior officer and someone that she has great respect for, who basically says that things would be better if Eula just disappeared and being digested alive is a perfectly acceptable thing to let happen.

After this she begs the people in general for just an ounce of empathy and help her, only to be ignored by everyone other than the very person that is slowly killing her. In fact they don’t do anything until after the very boy that’s digesting her berates them and somehow successfully frees Eula, leaving everyone to see not some Lawrence clansmen, but naked, broken and sobbing young women who just barely escaped a horrible fate.

I don’t know about all of you, but if all that betrayal happened to me, you’d better believe I’d be damn resentful and any sense of friendship, respect or duty to protect would be dead and gone. I could see this Eula just outright leave Monstadt as it was a damn miracle that she escaped that situation with her life and none of her so called friends were willing to try and help her, sans a certain idol nun. Knowing her life truly meant so little to them would destroy any illusion of trust she once had in these people.

If Eula didn’t just outright leave, which she’d have every right to do after this, I could see the regret from the others start to finally sink in what they nearly let happen, only for any interaction with Eula to not even attempt to be friendly like she was before (despite her doing very poorly at it.)

Just imagine Jean trying to apologize for what she said only for Eula to cut her off with a chilling and distant tone, non verbally telling her formerly respected leader that she didn’t want to hear anything from her beyond the job she’s needed for. Or for Amber to be reminded how she left Eula to die and the knight now wants nothing to do with the girl.

I know this is a Commissioned story so I’m not sure if posting some ideas for how Eula could get some revenge in the comments would be considered rude or not. Still I have a few Ironic punishments should the commissioner, or you the writer wish to see.

Voshine, would you prefer I send the idea via PM or do you not mind if I post them in the comments for everyone to see and consider?

Sadly, I *really* don't have the time for requests since I already got several comms queued up and the client isn’t interested in a sequel ( they wanted Eula Humiliation). Unless you wanted to commission a sequel, I am afraid that Eula’s payback will remain just an idea =(
