Basically everyone in Mossui Town is hypnotised by the Mochi, excluding the player and Kieran, but including Arven, Penny and Nemona (who tagged along with the player).
Penny is even noted to be performing the Mochi Dance with far more enthusiasm than the others, especially Arven. The fetish scenarios, as you say, write themselves.

I actually wrote a fic with a similar concept to this, Nemona eating peeps under the influence of Pecharunt's mochi. This one doesn't have the fatal stuff, though. Also, protag gets possessed too.
