Hashtagpurr is a city kid through and through.
To teach him some important life lessons, he gets his butt sent out to a farm, far, far off.
It's a different and difficult place to settle, especially with that dang rivalry going on.
Warning: This is a long one. BRACE.

I know longer form stories aren't as popular but this was a real treat.
However, the formatting made it very difficult for me to read, I think it would help if you used the double quotation marks ( “ ) instead of the single quotation mark ( ' ) for speech. The character's accents made it difficult to tell when speech started and when it ended because single quotation marks were also used a lot in character's speech.
Also, the ending felt a little sudden and anticlimactic to me but I suppose the story was already fairly long. I think this could have made a good multipart series with a different ending. Or it could continue from here where Hayseed puts the pieces together and figures out what happened and confronts Patches.
Regardless, I enjoyed it for what it was.

Ooold force of habbit with the ''s, one day I'll break it! ...Maybe!
And I've often considered going back to this one, redoing it as a non-voracious love story, ...or just really weedling the duo before Patches makes his move, buuuut, I think my muse burned out on it.
