I stumbled upon chapter 3 today and wound up reading the whole thing. Like, 3 times LOL!
Absolutely phenomenal writing! There were so many hidden details I'd missed on the first readthrough. Darker stories aren't really for me but I can definitely appreciate some quality and hard work when I see it. You are so so so good at this nonlinear style of storytelling, keep it up! ❤️
Your art style also really grew on me! Initially, I thought the characters MAYBE look a little choppy and MAYBE not be perfectly anatomically correct. But over time I came to understand that it all plays into servicing your tone in storytelling, which I didn't fully comprehend initially.
It reminds me a lot of a picture book. The characters have cute, simple designs with big expressive eyes. They have big cute smiles and live in a cute warm house on top of a hill. This all comes crashing down when the story unfolds and the characters shift to a frighteningly uncanny valley. Genuinely, I think you've awoken a newfound appreciation for an art style I didn't have before, no joke!
On another note; I... I can't believe I'm saying I would have preferred there not to be so much fetish stuff...! LMAO!!!!!
I like sexualization in dark fiction, gritty realism needs it sometimes (E.g. Game of Thrones). But I feel like there's a real difference between that and fetishization. Idk if that makes sense or not... It just sorta makes me uncomfy, but in the wrong sort of way. I don't know what I'm saying tbh maybe this is just me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Me and the vore community don't always see eye-to-eye, maybe ASPD and fratricide is just what some people need to get their engines revvin' fidsjahvufdsnvjfndifasdnsdji'll stop now......
Thank you! And thank you for the super detailed comment!
Storybook is exactly what I tend to aim for :-)
I totally get what you mean about fetishisation- though I'd object to the term sexualisation. Sublime evil is totally obscene, shameless and biological, in the way that sex is, but one of those very much does it for me and the other very much doesn't.
All of my work is asexual, and even though characters do have sex in this story (I think uniquely in my canon, though sex is referenced in some other stories), the associated moment of climax isn't sexual but scatological- it's a release in a much more literal sense.
Likewise, the way the characters' flesh is displayed is the opposite of sexual- Eabha is naked in the way an infant is naked, greedy in the way an infant is greedy, and cruel and calculating in the way an infant would be cruel and calculating if it could understand the world and the power it held over others.
I believe the character would be less herself if she were less obscene, and the story would be less impactful. That's a standard I always try and stick to when in kinky territory, though I understand if you feel it isn't the case here.
In any case, thanks again, I hope we can talk more in the future.
I occasionally see art on this site that makes me log off for a few months. Sometimes I see super dark stuff and the fact that I am not 100% repulsed repulses me. It makes me hate myself as I should. Or it is that one artist that draws everyone with those big eyes that look like suffocating fish on dry land.
This weird surreal stuff is on that line for me. I enjoyed reading this. Maybe enjoyed is the wrong word. This was impactful. I have rarely been impacted so deeply. If art is something that causes its audience to feel emotions then I don't want this to be art! I want to deny these horrific emotions.
Oh gosh, now I want to know who you're talking about! That's an evocative image, I kind of want to see the big fish eyes haha.
You sound like exactly the kind of reader I like. You should stick around, there's plenty more of this in my backlog >:-)
By the time I'm done with you you'll have transcended hating yourself and become one with the blasphemy...
I will not be outing that artist. I think they are popular and the fact that their characters have a bit of the "Innsmouth look" does not seem intentional.
Thanks for doing what you do. I will be sure to reread this when I am ready.

Right so the saintess lost and the evil daughter lost to her dickish boyfriend that is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Did I get that right?

I'd say he's more of a shepherd, but sure, that seems like a reasonable interpretation.

I'll say your story telling is certainly unique in the vore space.

Hehe, I'll take that as a compliment, thank you.
