The next day, the kingdom was in uproar because of their missing princess. Of course, because of the pact, they couldn't search the forest without risking destruction of their kingdom from the faefolk. Against the judgement of the court, the first prince refused to stay put and went to find his sister alone, the only one left allowed to venture into the fae domain. He was well trained, but naive, carrying no weapons or useful tools so as not to offend them further if his sister had done so.

Though the young man made a lot of noise, he was left alone as was proper, but it didn't take long for him to come across something unusual in his search. Half submerged in a bog, a clearly human skull amidst some tattered, somewhat familiar clothes. In his sheltered upbringing, the prince had never seen something so disturbing, remains bubbling down slowly into the muck..

The pixie, unseen and napping on a larger flower nearby, woke as he began to panic. She'd noticed he trampled over some of her blue flowers in his haste. Her grumpy, soft voice, pointing out the flower beneath his expensive boots, was stifled completely by his panicked cries.
