Swimming in the ocean at night is a high risk/high reward kind of gamble. On one hand, you practically have the entire beach to yourself but on the other hand, you’ll never be 100% sure that you’re actually alone. With that said, it’s probably a good idea to bring a friend with you to help even the odds a little. Still, a gamble is a gamble so there’s no shame in walking away from the table, especially if you know you’re about to end up on it; served on a silver platter.
