Summary
The antediluvian plains. A unique crack in space and time, surged forth a charismatic "man" so magnified in appetite and stature, that the Great Scribes purged his evils from the Great Books. But this would be in vain. Because, centuries later, he would resurface; convincingly normal.

To violently intersect with a modern woman.

Stories of antiquity and stories of modernity interlace as he begins consuming her world in horrors he once committed. But, these horrors provide vital clues to his Story. One that travels down the threads of many lives, leaping across epochs, generations, continents and timelines to horseshoe with the Great Books. A Story she must demystify, in her bid to slay him.

Lest he lustily eat her, too.

But, he is charismatic. And not a man; not entirely.
