Summary: You are Isekai’d after getting hit by a truck. Standing in front of you is a beguiling elf maid. What crazy antics will you get to in this world.
Word Count: 7,768
Author’s Notes: Yo! I felt really inspired this Sunday, and I was able to write this story out over the course of my free time for two days. While writing, the initial concept really grew in my head into an organic and over-aching narrative that this story barely touches on. So, if there is a lot of interaction on this work, then you might see more in the not near, also not distant, future.
I will say, that if this becomes a series, despite their being an overarching narrative, it will be largely episodic. So you don’t have to worry about keeping up with all the details like you would with my P.A.L.D.E.A. series.
Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments below.

I would've liked to see more of how the melf easily overwhelmed and slurped us down. perhaps with the advisor berating us for our meek submission and pathetic, premature end as elf mud.
Nonetheless a fun read and soil disposal is always a delight <3. I would not at all mind the occasional isekai episode in your style it opens up a lot of fun preds and scenarios

Thanks...this was supposed to be more of an Instant Loss sort of deal. Ergo the title...an Isekai story and Instant Loss elements...but my desire for description won out. So we got something between an Instant Loss story and my usual super descriptive works.
Going forward, I'll probably switch between descriptive swallowing scenes and non-descriptive swallowing scenes for the Isekai Loss stories. Whatever narratively flows the best. But most of these stories will be aimed to be shorter. (I guess 7K+ words being short for me).

Another banger, love how we aren't even glorified with a swallowing scene, since the implication that she's been doing this to ever hero who gets summoned means we're just another quick issue to take care of. Definitely looking forward to more isekai loss stories and hope Deedlit is a recurring character

Thanks for the comment.
Yea, Lady Lina is being put through the wringer. Wasting all that magic just to end up adding it all to her elf maid’s waist. As for Deedlit being a recurring character, I’ll definitely want to rope these characters back in the story from time to time, but I’m going to try and take a wider approach of the world. Depicting stories that are snapshot of that corner of place and time. There will be some intersections, but there will also be some entirely new tales. At least that is my hope.
Regardless, let’s see if the intrepid hero in the next Isekai Loss fares better.

I love the elf’s efficiency in disposing of the heroes. Lady Lina needs to learn to stay with her summons!

I guess we should add concentration to the deficiencies that Deedlit recognizes in her. Maybe if Lady Lina does end up doing that, the elf would be more amenable towards the idea of the young lady going on an adventure.

That’s a good point actually… although extreme, maybe she had a point

Is Halo a reference to "Spice and Wolf"? o_0
Posted by Fatedmeal 1 year ago Report
Yup, changed a letter, so nice catch! I actually sprinkled a number of fantasy references throughout this story. Not just limited to Spice and Wolf. Regardless, I'm glad that you were able to pick up on that one.

My dyslexic ass read it as Garten of Bambam since i only saw the B

Either we’re talking about that character from the Flinstones or that rapper from Southeast Asia. I’m not sure if I want to be anywhere near that garden.

So I reread this masterpiece. After much thought and careful analysis of the text, I found another reference. This time to anime Zero no Tsukaima. Here are my evidences:
1) MC was summoned to another world by a noble but inexperienced girl magician, similar to Louise Valliere.
2) MC has an invisible voice helper (in the anime it was a talking sword, but the principle is the same).
3) Deedlit is similar to a maid at the Louise's Academy in her protective personality. Also, her uniform from ref pic looks almost completely, except for a couple of small details, similar to the maid costume from the anime. But it may also be that I'm looking for hidden meanings where no one has hidden them.

Yes to the first point.
However, the second point you brought up is a reference to something else. If I get around to doing more Isekai Losses than it should become clearer.
The third point about Deedlit’s outfit is not what I was going for. Her outfit is one that is supposed to be a typical maid outfit. Any similarities to maid designs from another series, including Zero no Tsukaima is completely coincidental.
But congrats on the first point. I think I watched ZnT before Sword Art Online, so it was technically my first Isekai anime.
