Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like my art, and yeah, the idea came to me when i realized that a giant would need to eat a LOT of humans to actually feed themselves, right? Here Abigail has eaten HUNDREDS, and their total combined calories, their worth in Abby's eyes, only supplied her for 11 days.
Each one was their own person, but for a body as large as hers, their 'sacrifices' don't amount to much, Abigail only remembers her first human's name, the rest have all been blissfully forgotten! but yes, its certainly something to think about!
Yeah, I found it super interesting when I was calculating it! Especially the 50 BILLION calories, that was crazy.
Also, ill be first to admit, the way i calculated it very well could be wrong, I just adjusted the average human proportions, and multiplied it by the weight ratio, but i don't know if that truly gives the correct amount.
its really interesting though! 74 ft isnt even a particularly large giant, (i think if you wanted to have a 3in tiny, a giant would be around 100-110 ft tall) but she already has to consume so many, I wonder what an even larger giantess would have to eat!
Sure! For a Giantess 140 feet tall, She would weigh a stunning 2,308,000 lbs, and have a daily caloric intake of 36,062,500. If she ate the same 474 humans that Abigail did, it would only fuel her for 1.89 days... If she was 23 years old, she would have to have eaten ~302,744,687,500 Calories (over 300 billion calories) which equates to ~2,102,394 humans... thats a lot :O about the city of Chicago all to feed one person...
An even larger giantess, 200 feet tall, would weigh an astonishing 6,732,000 lbs. She would need to eat 105,187,500 Calories each day, so even 474 humans wouldn't be able to satiate her for even one day, only about 2/3rds of one, for 0.649 days. If she was 23 years old like Abigail, she would need to have eaten ~883,049,062,500, thats nearly a TRILLION Calories, or 6,132,285 humans, roughly the entire city of Madrid, Houston, Toronto, or the entire country of Singapore... wow, thats a lot of humans all to feed one person...
Disclaimer though... I think the real number would be slightly lower... as things grow bigger, they naturally can control their inner temperature a lot better, which is the number one use of energy for creatures... I don't know how that would effect it down to the dot, but it would probably significantly decrease the real number... oh well, its not like any of this is real anyways soooo... we can keep our numbers if we want :)
Yeah! I love having the giantess eat 'tinies' that they can actually feel, they have substance! also haha, math freak lol, yeah it was actually pretty fun calc'ing the numbers for this. I may do it again sometime, maybe if I ever do full sized so it is unique enough from this one.
hmmm... considering she's eaten hundreds of humans as a so called activist, maybe she's not very good at her job haha. Or maybe, the rights she's fighting for, are the rights to eat them lmao >:D
The number '474 humans eaten' is one I just made up, just to show how gluttonous she is. the ~350,000 one is the number of total calories (50 billion) divided by the total amount of calories in an average human (between 120,000 and 144,000... I chose and it was still so much, so you know she needs to eat a LOT of humans!)
Giants like this really aren't sustainable unless they were to spend all their time hunting whales or something (sea giants are badass). They just require too much energy to do anything but look for food eat. For example, and excluding sleep, she'd need to eat a person on average every 23 minutes to get to 474 people in 11.43 days. I'm sure she isn't welcome anywhere mear populated areas, so hunting people down is all her life must consist of at this point. With a normal diet, she'd struggle to find anywhere near enough food in the wild. She'd need the equivalent of nearly 3000 people's food, and she certainly can't gather it as fast as 3000 people could. The only possible explanation is that the public has pitched in to feed her, even though her societal contribution likely doesn't even out to 3000 people's worth. With her poor energy to productivity ratio and her crimes against humanity, any reasonable society would have her on a hit list.
So, for what reason do you have this exemption from the law, Abigail?
Also, small people are much better. 8 inch tall people are infinitley more sustainable than 75 foot tall people, and the small people fit into normal society far more easily. Plus, both facilitate awesome macro/micro scenarios.
Yeah, I totally agree, one of the main reasons why I made this table was to just show the absolute absurdity of the whole thing lol, (and she's not even a really large giant, many people like their giants in the triple digits of feet!) Yeah, it would be completely unplausable to actually feed a giant in a world of humans... I more of see the world they are living in as GIANTS are the 'humans' (the dominant species, with the rest of the fauna/flora being giant size as well) and humans are tiny... so basically what you were saying lol, but then the statistics for giant eating are a loooooot lower so... less cool.
In any case, 99% of her food wouldnt/hasn't come from humans, they are treated as a rare delicacy for her, if she was eating a person every 23 minutes she definitely would have been caught by now!
Thank you tho for bringing it up, its really interesting, I honestly could talk about this for hours, but I'd be rambling lol.
Hey! Thank you for the interest! To answer your question... she basically isnt. An activist I mean. Publically, she is a giantess who avidly supports the fair treatment of humans by her fellow giants (humans in this world are ~technically~ equal, but not really) but in private, she sees humans as a nice squirming treat. After all, who would expect a human rights activist to eat humans :P
But a really interesting character introduction! I can’t imagine the math you had to do in order to calculate everything, from how many people she’d eaten, to how many would be needed to sustain her. I like effort like that.
No definitely not xD... Im glad you find her interesting despite that :) yeah the math was a bit wonky, im still not 100% sure if it is correct, i basically just put into a "giantess calculator" her height and got her weight, then calculated the average calories of a normal human to the average calories of someone who would weigh that much, and got those numbers... i THINK it works out pretty well despite it all
Yeah, I imagine how hard it might be to get the numbers correct. It’s a huge hypothetical with a lot of variants to it that would complicate things immensely.
yeah, theres not really any like, super hard science about this topic because its not like giants are actually real xD (if only ;-;) so we just kinda gotta guess i suppose~
I think she may have slightly misunderstood the assignment. Unless right refers to the proper(right/correct) form humans should assume, that being calories.
haha its a bit of a double meaning xD. She definitely understands the assignment, its just a different assignment than what people expect the "rights" she's fighting for about humans are about :P
well... good question, honestly, its kinda hard to tell xD, I suppose the best way is to see how many calories they have produced and then how many calories her body has burned in total! so~
she ate her first human when she was 20 years old, and she is 23 now, so that is 3 years of eating humans~
365 days x 3 years = 1095 days.
Humans have in total calorically made up 11.47 days of food for her... sooo~ 11.47 days of calories/1095 days = ~1.1% of her total body is made up of humans :P
BUT! the most she has ever eaten in one day is 27! (7 in the morning, 6 for lunch, and 14 for dinner if you're curious~) making up 144,000kcal each, and 3,888,000 calories total. So by the next morning when her body had absorbed all those humans she had eaten the day before, she was probably made up of 5-10% humans, with 95% of their bodies being burned off for energy or converted to waste

Could you do the math?

For a larger giantess? Sure! What height do you want them to be?

Say 140 and 200?

haha, yeah, I'm sure she'd agree with that too~ The more humans the better! I'm glad you like my art of her, thank you!!
