Pedophilia (also paedophilia)
Pedophilia refers to a sexual deviation with an interest in underaged children of either sex. It is not limited to vore nor is it directly linked to vore in any way. However, pedophilia can co-exist with other sexual deviations, including vore.
The standard pedophile, it seems, is said to have an interest in children of a certain age category, ranging from babies up to children in early puberty. Usually, the interest in the child fades once the relevant age category is left, and a new child is needed.
From a legal point of view, sexual interactions with minors are considered a serious offense.
It should be noted, that despite a seemingly common myth, underaged characters can indeed be both predator and prey in unbirth situations, just as they can take these roles in any other vore or vore- related scenario.
