I've decided to start a scrapbook, to write down ideas I'm not planning to turn into full stories immediately, but like enough to do so in the future. To be clear, this scrapbook is not going to be public; I'll keep it privately on my PC. I may, however, occasionally share entries from the scrapbook for people to comment on so I can get feedback about whether it's something people might want to see, or whether it's something I should set back to focus on other things.

To give you a rough idea of what these entries will look like, here's a mock-up of what an entry for The Diary might have looked like, before I wrote the full story:

I like reading books, watching sci-fi and fantasy movies and playing video games. Pretty typical basement geek (though my house does not, in fact, have a basement). I live in Kingston Upon Hull, which is in England, which is in the UK, which, until recently, was in Europe (though we still hang out nearby, like that one weird kid in the corner of the school playground. The government have repeatedly rejected my calls to fit a giant outboard motor to Kent).
