Two days ago I hit 5,000 favourites on my userpage. I know my content definitively isn't for everyone, but thank you all who have shown interest. I'm flattered. I have just finished a multi-chapter story, A Protege's Return, which totaled at 86K words - just a smidge shorter than its predecessor story. I also have crossed a few more milestones: 100 uploads, 300 comments.

It's not all bad, is it?

I'll resume The Eaten Path when I can, or perhaps post more Neptunia stories.

So, it is done. Ten chapters in and over 57k words later, the conclusion to the Ului storyline has finally been reached. Shodi, played by  Neoneo, endeavored to rescue her monarch Khirishan through ground and water. Along the path she mastered her powers, faced new enemies both unexpected and delicious, and even met willing preys and made new allies, like Memsaa played by  Vasp and Vashi Vashivana played by  Spammeister. Thanks to you for helping write your respective OCs, thanks to Neo like always, thanks to  2good2btru for the regular comments and thanks to  Aqualite for helping with some beta reading as well, and thanks to everyone who's here for coming along for the ride.

Although one plotline might have been wrapped up, we're only at the halfway...

A few nights ago, the final D&D game between me,  Neoneo and  Vasp played out. It was funny. It was sexy. It was an ungodly mess. And it was epic.

Using a combination of dice rolls and play-by-post, Shodi and Memsaa's adventure concluded.  Spammeister also had a hand, defying restrictive scheduling to pop in as a sneaky rogue for a couple of sessions. As to what became of Viviva and Khirishan... you'll have to find out when I finish the story on this site. The most recent chapter of The Eaten Path, Golden Feathers and Obsidian Skin, is based on the first proper session of that game, where the lamia Shodi, played by Neoneo, and the sphinx Memsaa, played by Vasp, met in the village of Pikhri, receiving a quest...

Three thousand hits, three thousand times people saw my uploads and decided to give me a metaphorical thumbs up. Another milestone crossed as we enter autumn. The transition period between warm and cold seasons is always rocky for me, even moreso this year. Here in Italy we went from scorchingly hot to windy and chilly almost overnight.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has been reading these light-and-dark, predominantly horny stories. Special thanks to my partner  Neoneo, our friend and campaign buddy  Vasp, and regular readers and commenters like  Aqualite and  MasterGryph. I wish I had encountered more commenters and interactivity overall, but it seems like we are in the "silent reader era" as fanfic authors call it.
