SlaveGirls Rising, and me, ...on hiatus? Posted 6 years ago
It's been a while since my last Blog entry, eh? I'm not really active enough to warrant entries anymore. And, this may be the last you hear from me overall, anyway, for a bit.

Okay, I owe everyone a situation update.

With the Christmas Season and my health situation, I haven't worked on this as much as I should have. Part of the issue was also that I've been writing out a lot of exposition right after the point where the last update ended... and I've also been second-guessing myself about where to take the story now; what to reveal, what not to, and quite frankly, what Alanna should have to do now.

Now, however, there is another issue as well. My ten-year-old laptop's screen has died, and connecting to an external monitor is impractical at best....

Where have I been? Posted 13 years ago
Hello, all. As one or two people may have noticed, I've virtually disappeared from this site (and others), only rarely posting on threads and very rarely adding stories or art to my gallery here, and with the Tower of Change game on hold. Thanks to those who still Watch me.

Here's where I've been. I met a woman; I got engaged; I married her. Now, as of April 20th, I have a daughter. I now have a family, and thus, I have responsabilities I never had before in my life. I have a job, working nights, which cut short my time to draw or write during the day, since I have to sleep at some point. Having my wife, of course, means certain... needs... are met... so there's less need to draw and write for my own entertainment. She of course has been my priority when I have... free...

Back in Business Posted 14 years ago
Finally!Got my compy back at last after sending it off for repairs.  Over three weeks, augh.  Earlier this week my backup computer failed completely; lost hours of work, and had no computer of my own to use for several days.  I'm glad I'd been backing up my work periodically on a memory stick... there had been a reason why I'd gotten the new one, after all.  The failure was therefore no big surprise, but still, losing hours of work is not happiness-enducing.Regardless.  Got my main computer back!  Sems to be running right, too.  I'm re-loading programs I can and I seem to be back in business at last.  So, anyone on my list of commissions, rejoice, for I do believe I can start working again!
Screwed Posted 14 years ago
Well, life threw me another curveball.

Remember how I recently offered up commissions again (see my last blog)? No sooner had I done so, and had I started receiving offers, than did my computer --- just over a year old --- go haywire. Hard disk failure. Fortunately I'd gotten the extended warranty; not so fortunately, I'm computerless for 3 weeks now. Right now I'm making this entry from my old compy which likes spontaneously shutting down if I ask it to compute things. ( :roll: ) I can't even run disk cleanup or disk defrag on it without it shutting down. ^^;

Commissions, please! Posted 14 years ago
Evening, folks.

Well, life has taken a turn for the unexpected. As in, suddenly after many years I'm starting to HAVE a life at last. :P Fiancee, kids in the near future, and all the expenses therein...

At the moment, I simply have no revenue. My springtime job is a long ways away and quite honestly I doubt my physique could handle it when it comes around again. I'm looking into finding another job, but at the moment I have no revenue whatsoever; my credit card is rapidly reaching its limit and Christmas hasn't been placated yet. So in an effort to garner a little more revenue at the moment, I'm calling on anyone who would be willing to commission me to, well, commission...

Reality Posted 14 years ago
There is no such thing as karma. Be good, you're screwed. Be bad, you win.

There are two kinds of coincidences. There are the normal kind most people experience. Then there are the kind where various destructive things happen in impossible synch or succession. The ones I get.

Justice is for the rich.

Life is not only not fair, but the opposite of fair.

Don't pray for divine intervention. The opposite will happen.

Hope and trust is for the weak. Merciless aggressiveness is the key.

I won't get to die in my sleep, or instantly. I will end up crippled or worse, but not dead. The opposite would be too merciful from the Powers that Be.

If I died this minute, if I somehow ended up in Heaven, I'd...

May Vanish! Posted 15 years ago
My compy's hacking and wheezing (well, grinding and squeaking) and I haven't a penny to replace it at the moment. Hence if I vanish, that's the reason why. :?
We live in a Vorish World. Posted 15 years ago
I wonder, sometimes, why people react so poorly to voraphiles. Why they act so grossed out and scared... when the truth is that we live in a vorish world.

I was sitting on my back patio this afternoon/evening, working on chapter three of “Ambassadors of the Flesh.” I was writing the beginning of a butchering scene in a vore story of a vore series that focuses on prey being livestock.

I was outside plugged into an outdoor socket. I was there because I'd just let my cows into a section of my backyard which had become a small jungle and wanted to keep an eye on them. So I was typing about livestock and meat while livestock and meat grazed not four feet from me.

I shared pieces of chicken from my chicken noodle soup with my insistent pussycats, too......

Not sure I'll be able to finish my EPVT entry... Posted 15 years ago
Well, I should knock that massive wall of text off my userpage I think... to paraphrase Bitter, I think it was.

I had some work to do today. Or rather, for once I had help. I had to go cut as many cedar pickets as I could, to fence off all the deeper ditches on my lands... to prevent the cows from entering them. Supremely massively deadly instant-kill pollution or something. Translation: another asshole "working" for the Quebec Government, sitting at a desk in an air-conditioned office, decided to make farmers jump through more hoops. "Wouldn't be pretty and cool if all the farmers put fences and hedges around the ditches that are dry most of the summer anyway?" "Yeah, you're right! Let's make it a law!"

SOS details. Posted 16 years ago
'Evening, or 'morning, or 'night, or 'day, whatever applies to you as you read this. :D

I said at the end of my last melodramatic blog (or I think I said?) that I'd wanted to speak of SOS but would do so another time. Well, 'tis another time, then.

Before I start: there will be "Spoilers" below for anyone that hasn't read the whole series.

When I began the Survival of the Species series, I didn't think it would go on as long as it has. While I had set up the world of the tale in my mind and was using an RPG I'd created for the world's rules, I didn't go entirely into a detailed soul-search to make sure it would be one-hundred-percent...
