“Alright, well you be careful
about who you hang around with. It would be tragic if we lost one of
our best students!” Jane left the teacher’s office, having been
asked to come in due to someone saying they saw her last night at a
certain hotel. Twenty high school and college students disappeared
last night, and the teachers were worried that Jane would be in
danger if she hung out near that area.

“Dude, nice
shiner!” Robert waved as he got another complement, about his black
eye, from a student in the hall. “Thanks.” The day had gone by
pretty well, all things considered, and no one had given him too much
crap about the eye. School was basically over now, and he was waiting
in the entrance hall for Jane, was chatting with a teacher about
something. When he saw her walking toward him, he unconsciously

Jane was one of those rare people,
who seemed to be good at everything. She always did well on tests,
always scoring in the top 20 of our grade, and she was a skilled
musician and was good at sports though she only played
recreationally. She also had no problem striking up a conversation
with anyone. She also always had an air of feminine confidence,
wearing little, if any, makeup, and wearing nice clothes that didn’t
emphasize any part of her body.
