Rules
Will do a trade based on agreed upon terms by both parties. I prefer to not leave a cash trail related to me. Thus if someone were to offer an equivalent trade…
1. A written story
2. An artwork
Completed by the requesting party, if their skill is considered sufficient. (Basically a straight up trade)
Or if the requesting party’s skill is insufficient, then they can commission a third party of our choice to complete either 1 or 2. (A commission, but instead of paying me in cash you pay someone in cash for an artwork or written piece according to my preferences which I will outline to you).
Do not begin this pursuit without contacting me first and seeing if I’m okay with doing this with you.
If we pursue the latter route, you commissioning someone else for me, then I would need to see approval of payment from both you and the third party before I would begin writing.
Of course, you can just wait for the request giveaway which are held publicly at least once a year on my Eka’s blog. But you would be in competition with several other of my viewers in what would either end up being a raffle or a poll for a free story. Essentially either a lottery or a popularity contest.

Pricing
So…this is odd for me. I’ve been told that I write well enough by the people interested in my works. I’ve even been told that I can charge quite a bit for my stories, which I still have a hard time believing. But I’ve been messaged personally enough times that I might as well put this out there publicly.
The following applies to individuals who can’t do a straight-up trade with me. Basically…
$40 per 1,000 anticipated words (up to the 10,000 word mark).
$30 per 1,000 anticipated words (up to the 20,000 word mark).
$20 per 1,000 anticipated words (up to the 25,000 word mark).
25,000+ words…unlikely to happen unless I really like this idea.
Essentially, if you ask me for a 5,000 word story, then I would need you to purchase one or multiple artworks, according to the specifications we settle on, that would amount to $200.($40/1,000 words • 5,000 words).
For an example to illustrate how the tiered pricing system works, if the written work is estimated to be 15,000 words then the math would work out so that you would need to purchase me artwork(s) that are around $550. (($40/1000 words • 10,000 words) + ($30/1000 words • 5,000 words)).
If you are reading this, then thank you. I would like to also emphasize for you to spend your money wisely. As the latter example…a 15,000 word story written by me is more than the price of a video game console.
I’m setting the price this high, due to confidence in my own skill, and so I don’t end up being overloaded on third-party commissions. As my time is valuable to me.
Addendum:
I won’t be accepting any third-party commissions if the projected word count is below 3,000 words.
That is the minimum word limit for what I believe would take for me to write a story that will get you your money’s worth.
