The most famous and dangerous hunting tool of slug girls in Felarya is their slime. They can lay it as a trap or an obstacle and some of them can even spit it at a prey! A slug girl is slower than most preds but when you are helplessly pinned to the ground by a large glob of slime it doesn't matter. She can take all the time she wants to get to you, collect you and casually pop you in her large, slimy mouth X3

However I myself am Pred based so I'll assume that a Small river's worth of Salt will be enough to kill a Slug girl so she can be prepared for feasting.

If you want to eat her don't salt her, you won't have anyone to eat at that point

You think it would be harder to spit... but maybe when it's exposed to the air outside of the warm, moist mouth is only when it begins to thicken! 0w0
