In almost a single fluid motion, Dala had Tikk's body secured within her. Even if a royal guard had seen it happen, what was he gonna say? Tell Dala what to do? Her reputation preceded her and the guards knew that you just don't mess with that one.

Tikk barely had a moment to react, the only evidence of his existence was the cloak he once wore was in the mud in front of Dala. Now all he could feel were the hot, wet, constricting walls of Dala's body. His little claws could do nothing against even her squishy insides. The tightness and sounds of her body became his new home for the next few hours. Some guards did walk by Dala, opting to put their heads down and ignore her as they heard the muffled pleas of whoever was inside her.

Once the moon was out the royal guard had reasoned that the goblin must've snuck onto a trader's caravan with the priceless artifact he stole and left the city.
